Yes! You can catch the replays. These will be ready within 48 hours of taping and will be unlisted links on youtube. Please enjoy but do not share. Link for zoom to come!
What if I can't make it to all the live tapings?
That's ok, try to make it to MOST of the live-online classes and confirm that you have watched the replays you missed.
What do I need?
A computer or other internet-connected device with a microphone and camera. Some classes you will want a yoga mat. Water or a drink. Option to have snacks. We will use zoom, you can download the app or stream from the website.
Will there be breaks?
Yes, we will take 5-7 minutes breaks throughout.
My family is around, can they be in the room?
As long as you mute the mic so the noise isn't distracting, we will make it work!
Will this count for Yoga Alliance Contact Hours?
Yes, you will get 18 contact hours for YACEP or toward your RCYT.
Will I get a certificate?
If you are working toward your 95-hour RCYT, you get that once you complete all the courses. We will track your progress together. If you are not pursuing RCYT, you can have a certificate of completion.

Do I need my 200-hour RYT through Yoga Alliance to pursue my 95 RCYT?
In order to register as an RCYT (Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance, a teacher must also complete a 200-hour training with an RYS 200. However, it does not need to be done first. A teacher can complete the trainings in any order. You do not need to register with the Yoga Alliance, it is a governing body only. To be a certified children’s yoga teacher, you need to complete all course hours. In order to register with the Yoga Alliance, you must also be a 200-hour RYT or above. You can pursue that before or after your RCYT training is complete.
What is the 95-hour RCYT?
This is a course that involves 95 hours of training. It is a certificate that is registered through the Yoga Alliance.
Don't I need contact hours?
Contact means in-person with a lead trainer, but right now during the COVID19 pandemic, contact hours are awarded for online training per Yoga Alliance. That rule currently extends until 6/30/2020.
Do I need to get my RCYT to teach?
No, you do not need to have your 95-hour Registered Children's Yoga Teacher designation through Yoga Alliance to become a kids yoga teacher. You are able to teach once you feel ready. Though registration through Yoga Alliance is rarely a requirement to teach children's yoga in most settings, it can boost your confidence and enrich your resume. It is not essential for all people. If you are thinking of a kids yoga career track, consider completing your 95-RCYT.
Can I teach kids yoga after I take this course?
What if I need more help once I am done with this course?
We offer online as well as private mentorship to our graduates. I will work with payment plans through these trying economic times. If you need help with building a business or learning the ropes of working online, I can support you privately.
What are the details of the 95-hour RCYT through Flow and Grow Kids Yoga?
In order to get your 95 hour RCYT through us, you need to complete 82 contact hours and the remaining 13 can be live online or no. That means once you take this course, you will need to finish the rest of the courses.
The courses are listed above. If you cannot make any of the times, all will be recorded. Observation and Practice Teaching must be set up with Lara.
